Pure white flowers grace the tops of this charming little plant in midsummer.  Growing one to two feet tall, this member of the Legume Family is an important component of short prairies.  Requires a well-drained soil in full sun.
A deep-rooted plant, that prefers a sandy loam with added leaf mould.  This species is well-suited to informal and naturalistic plantings, especially as part of a collection of native species.
