Campanula rotundifolia -- (Harebell)

Show all known sources of Seeds

Harebell’s deep blue, bell-shaped flowers dance on the summer breezes of June and July, and often re-bloom right up until the first hard frost. Although demure in stature, this is one tough cookie. It excels in thin, rocky soils as well as dry sand. Seldom exceeding one to two foot in height, it is perfect for rock gardens and dry, semi-shaded slopes. Also performs admirably in well-drained garden soil, in full sun or light shade. The extremely fine seed is best sown by simply scattering on top of the soil in fall or spring.
